Life Education Centres
Thames ValleyMillions of children in many countries now participate annually in the Life Education Centres programmes. Life Education Centres Oxfordshire was set up in 1998 and expanded to become Life Education Centres Thames Valley in 2005 encompassing West and Central Berkshire.

...is a registered charity which visits primary schools across Oxfordshire and Berkshire each year.
Life Education uses interactive mobile classrooms to teach positive health messages to primary school children to help them make smart choices as young people. Topics covered include: how the body works, the importance of healthy diet and exercise, safe use of medicines, the risks of tobacco, alcohol and non-prescription drugs and emotional well-being, including bullying.

We had a successful and well attended weekend at the Royal County of Berkshire Show in September.
Ride for Harold!
A big thank you to Rotary District 1090 Governor Laurie Cunningham and Kevin Mosley who completed their 320 mile cycle ride this summer. The aim was to cycle round all the clubs in Rotary District 1090 covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire and into Middlesex and Buckinghamshire in 6 days. We are grateful for all monies raised which will be going to Life Education.
